The Tennessee Titans begin their first and only set of joint practices of the 2024 NFL preseason on Wednesday with a session hosting the Seattle Seahawks.
Fresh off Saturday's win in their preseason opener against the San Francisco 49ers, quarterback Will Levis and the Titans will duel against the Seahawks, featuring stars like receiver DK Metcalf. The practice, which begins at 10 a.m. CT Wednesday, will pit the Titans' best against the Seahawks' best in 1-on-1, 7-on-7, full team, red zone and 2-minute drills, all of which are opportunities for the Titans to learn more about their talents under first-year coach Brian Callahan.
Two of the most interesting players in the proceedings will be Titans safeties Quandre Diggs and Jamal Adams, both of whom played for the Seahawks for four seasons before coming to Nashville.
Wednesday's session is the 10th training camp practice and the first of two joint practices this week ahead of a preseason game against the Seahawks at Nissan Stadium on Saturday (6 p.m., WKRN-2).
The Titans will play one more preseason game, against the New Orleans Saints, ahead of cut day on Aug. 27 and the start of the regular season on Sept. 8 against the Chicago Bears.
Here are highlights from Wednesday's practice, as well as everything the players and coaches said after Day 10 of training camp.

Will Levis and his mayo perfume are at the podium
What did Will Levis' teammates say about his new Hellmann's perfume?
"It smells great."
The perfume smells more like citrus or lemons than mayo, fortunately.

Tyler Boyd sat out practice today with a bruised foot and is day-to-day, Brian Callahan said.

Notes on Titans defense
Some Titans defense news, notes and musings from a back-and-forth day against the Seahawks
- Jamal Adams made a tackle for no gain on the first play of team work but didn't play a lot despite spending a lot of time yelling during practice with his former team.
- The Titans' first-team DL did very well against the Seahawks OL. Jeffery Simmons, Harold Landry and Sebastian Joseph-Day all had multiple possible sacks during the team session.
- Quandre Diggs and Amani Hooker took the first-team reps at the two safety positions.
- Jack Gibbens and Kenneth Murray had a good day working downhill against the Seahawks run game.
- Outside of DK Metcalf, the defense did a good job against a talented Seahawks skill group.
Jha'Quan Jackson continues strong camp with long TD
Jha'Quan Jackson has had a good day with two long runs after the catch for touchdowns in the team session.
Geron Christian works in at left tackle with first team during final team period
JC Latham was not in with the first team offense during the final team period of Wednesday's practice at left tackle, with Geron Christian taking his place. Latham remained on the sideline with his helmet, so may just be a matter of rotation.
Latham worked back in before the end of practice, so he is OK.
T'Vondre Sweat in and out of team sessions
T'Vondre Sweat is sitting out the first couple team periods, standing on the sideline with a trainer. Marlon Davidson took Sweat's place on the first team.
Sweat later returned to the field for the final team period.
The Seahawks' first-team offense had the early edge on the Titans' second-teamers, with DK Metcalf beating Jarvis Brownlee for a long touchdown. But the defense responds with a Eric Garror INT.
Titans QBs are solid in 7-on-7s
Will Levis was 4-of-5 in 7-on-7 work, the incompletion a drop by Calvin Ridley. Mason Rudolph was 4-of-4, while Malik Willis was 2-of-3 with a nice throw and catch by Bryce Oliver and a drop by Chig Okonkwo.
Oliver continues to make plays in camp. The Titans will have some tough decisions later this month at WR, and there could be quite a few practice squad candidates out of the group of young receivers.
Wide receivers showing off on both teams in 1-on-1s
There are some good wide receivers on the Saint Thomas Sports Park practice fields Wednesday and Thursday, including Calvin Ridley. DK Metcalf, Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Tyler Lockett.
Metcalf and Smith-Njigba got the best of Roger McCreary and Gabe Jeudy-Lally in the session, while Seahawks CB Tariq Woolen and Ridley had a couple good battles.
Treylon Burks also had a good rep against second-year corner Devon Witherspoon early in the period.
Jamal Adams, Quandre Diggs back at practice against former team
Jamal Adams and Quandre Diggs are practicing today against their former team. Nick Vannett and Leroy Watson also return to practice.
Rookie linebacker Cedric Gray and linebacker Luke Gifford are not out for practice. And neither is Tyler Boyd.

Titans predictions 2024
Predictions for the Titans in 2024 aren't particularly positive. Given Levis' lack of experience as a starting NFL quarterback and the team with a first-year head coach, offensive coordinator and defensive coordinator, coupled with the emergence of the Houston Texans in the AFC South, the Titans' playoff hopes aren't strong.
That said, adding veterans like L'Jarius Sneed, Calvin Ridley and center Lloyd Cushenberry III give the Titans a better roster than last season's. See our game-by-game predictions for the Titans' 2024 season here.
