Adam Collard, 28, wishes Laura Woods, 37, a happy birthday (2024)

Adam Collard wished his ITV Sports presenter girlfriend Laura Woods a happy birthday with a gushing message and a sweet album of snaps on Tuesday.

The Love Island star, 28, took to his social media to share an array of adorable black and white photographs to celebrate Laura turning 37.

Laura, who has played a key part in ITV's coverage of Euro 2024, looked happier than ever as she beamed into the camera.

Adam, who starred on Love Island in 2018 and 2022, also appeared on Celebs Go Dating last year, but he met Laura through be cheekily sliding into her DMs.

The reality TV lothario proved the couple's relationship has blossomed ever since as he dubbed Laura a 'rockstar' with his cute post.

Sharing 10 black and white snaps, he wrote simply: 'happy birthday you rockstar x'

Adam and Laura went public with their romance in October 2023, after the sports presenter'accidentally' posted a slew of later-deleted loved-up snaps.

The reality star opened up about how the pair got to know each during an appearance on a an episode of the Getting Lippy Gossip Show in December.

'I'd followed her on Instagram because I'd seen a Lionesses game or something like that and then I DMd her because she put like a funny meme on her story,' he said.

'I will hold my hands up, yes I acknowledge that even though she’s had my life about this a lot of times.'

The pair had crossed paths before Adam made his move - but he did not know she was famous.

'The funny part of the story is, for a football fan as well, I actually didn’t know who she was,' Adam said. 'Well I knew who she was as in I recognised and knew her face, but I didn't know that was Laura Woods in terms of her.

'So I went in for a podcast just like this at The Sun. She walked past me and the girl that was chaperoning us through as like "That's Laura Woods" and I was like [shrugs] but she had her back turned to us, she was like miles behind us.'

Adam then said it was 'fast forward months and months and months' before he tried his luck with the presenter.

In March,Adamand Laura packed on the PDA as he gave a glimpse into their romantic holiday to Mexico.

Since going public, the couple have not shied away from giving an insight into their romance, with Adam sharing a series of snaps to Instagram.

It marked the second lavish holiday in two months for the lovebirds, after they went skiing in the French Alps with a group of pals in February.

The snaps came after Adam revealed his intention to 'marry and have kids' with the TNT sports host.

He explained: 'I'm protective, whether it's Laura, or my family, my friends.

'I want to get married. I want to have kids as well. I've always thought, what type of person will I be? How can I protect my kids?

'Obviously I've never had a kid, but I don't think I'll be plastering it all over [social media]. I want them to have a fair fight and a chance not to be judged straight away.

'As long as my really close circle knows exactly who I am, I don't care. I think you have to take everything with a pinch of salt.'

Adam added that he is not concerned about the eight-year age gap between himself and Laura, saying: 'We are not necessarily the average everyday couple.'

He continued: 'We're both doing a lot and I think that I've always been beyond my years anyway, I think it's probably exactly everything that I've needed for a long time.'
